A Long Tradition of Excellence in Outdoor Advertising

Hughes Outdoor Media was founded in 2002 by Steve Hughes. The company operates over 100 outdoor displays in Virginia and North Carolina. Mr. Hughes grew up in the outdoor advertising business and Hughes Outdoor Media carries on a family business that was started in 1971 by Mr. Hughes’ late father, Bob Hughes. Throughout his career, Mr. Hughes has been deeply involved in all aspects of the outdoor advertising business and currently serves as president of the Outdoor Advertising Association of Virginia.

Family Business

Hughes Outdoor is pleased to welcome Lauren Hughes Edwards to the team as Director of Sales and Business Development. Lauren starts a new chapter at Hughes after a seven year career at Capital One as Title.

We look to establish long-term relationships with our customers and landlords to help build and maintain wealth through increased property values and increased sales. We are committed to placing billboards only in appropriate locations and to improving the quality of billboard structures and outdoor advertising.
